When FDB Møbler's design studio was founded in 1942, it was a rebellion against the existing one.

The goal was to design beautiful, functional furniture - not just for the wealthy, but for everyone. They simply went directly against the heavy, uncomfortable furniture of the time to pay homage and make room for life as it is lived in both thick and thin.

FDB Møbler is a movement that began in the 40s, which is still just as current. All architects and furniture designers who have been involved in FDB Møbler's production have their own story. But the goal is what they have in common.
